Tom completed his Master’s in Physiotherapy, Bachelor’s in Kinesiology at the University of British Columbia and AIM Orthopaedic Level 1 with Orthopaedic Division. His journey into physiotherapy was driven by a personal experience with a herniated disc following an accident, which impacted his daily activities and his athletic pursuits. This event sparked his passion for rehabilitation and has shaped his approach to patient care.

He has a diverse background in post-surgical rehab, neurological, musculoskeletal and cardiopulmonary conditions. He has demonstrated this expertise across outpatient settings, hospital medical units, GF Strong Rehab Centre, community health, private clinics with ICBC and return-to-work programs. Tom’s treatment philosophy is centered around evidence-based practice, patient education, and a balanced approach that combines hands-on therapy with therapeutic exercise. He prioritizes working collaboratively with clients, actively listening to their concerns, and helping them set and achieve their rehabilitation goals. Whether clients are in the acute, chronic, or preventative stage of their rehabilitation, Tom is dedicated to equipping clients with the knowledge and tools to manage their conditions independently and pursue a pain-free, fulfilling life.

Outside of work, Tom enjoys playing basketball, weight lifting, and creating DIY arts and crafts. He’s also dedicated to volunteering in spinal cord injury sports and rehab with both BC Wheelchair Sports Association and ICORD, and he loves to explore new destinations through travel.

We’d Love to work with you!
